GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) — As a part of a state-wide assistance movement, volunteers arrived in Garland Saturday to provide a helping hand to those impacted by May's severe storms and floods.

Among the volunteers are the Texas Baptist Men. They are going door to door to help out, talk with homeowners, and inspect properties.

Information they obtain will go to Federal and State assistance agencies.

Volunteers are clad in badged shirt that reads "Texas Baptist Men".

You can find more information on their website, TexasBaptistMen.org.
