Texas AG Paxton's Attorneys File Appeal To Delay Securities Fraud Case

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - New information this morning about the securities fraud case against against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
Paxton's attorneys have filed an appeal, after a judge found the criminal case should move forward.
Paxton's appeal says the state doesn't have the ability to prosecute the case against him.

The special prosecutors say they believe the court of appeals will rule the case should move forward.
No word yet on whether this will delay his trial.
