DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Richard Boone is 100 years old and says he's never missed a year of the State Fair of Texas.

He says he still knows a good corny dog when he sees one.

"A lot of mustard on it," is how Boone says he likes it.

"I like the excitement, like the people you see all kinds of people at the fair you see young people you see middle class people men and women," said Boone. "And old people like me."

It started when Boone was just a baby wrapped in his mother's arms while she served coffee at the fair.

He says he has no plans to ever skip a state fair.

"I've been there so many times I don't want to give up," said Boone

He says he gets good exercise there and likes to make new friends.

"People need to get out more and socialize not on an iPad but look at people eye," said Boone.
