Texan Guilty Of Forced Labor Said She Was "Voice Of God"

FORT WORTH (AP) - Prosecutors say a Texan who claimed to be the "voice of God" faces up to 60 years in prison for forcing two immigrants to work for years without pay.
Olga Sandra Murra of Fort Worth was convicted of two counts of forced labor and two counts of harboring an illegal immigrant. The 64-year-old Murra helped smuggle both women into the U.S. in the late 1990s.
Authorities say Murra, who was indicted in April and convicted Friday, forced both Mexicans to work in her cleaning business, kept them in Fort Worth and El Paso and withheld pay and identification documents.
Prosecutors say Murra represented herself as the "voice of God on earth" and forced the women to listen to recordings of her Bible readings.
Additional details weren't released on the immigrants.
