Teens Lead Dallas Police On Pursuit After Stealing Vehicle

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police say officers arrested two male suspects early Sunday morning after they stole a vehicle at gunpoint and led officers on a chase.

According to police, two suspects approached a 26-year-old man in his vehicle at approximately 2:10 a.m. and demanded the keys at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene in the victim's vehicle.

Police say officers had spotted the victim's vehicle while en route to the victim's call. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the suspects did not stop and led officers on a chase.

The suspects stopped the vehicle mid-chase and fled on foot. Officers were able to apprehend both suspects with no injuries or damage to property.

According to police, the suspects were transported to Lew Sterrett and charged 17-year-old Miguel Gonzales and 18-year-old Jonathan Reyes with aggravated robbery.
