Teen Killed In Crash Near Cleburne High School

JOHNSON COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - A young man died in a car crash about a mile from Cleburne High School according to DPS Trooper Doug Gillam.

Gillam tells CBS11 the car 17-year-old  Dustin Roye was in skidded off the road and hit a tree in the 3000 block of Woodard Avenue.

There were four 17-year-olds and a 14-year-old in the car.  Roye was sitting in the middle of the backseat and did not have a seat belt on according to Gillam.

All five were students at the Brazos River Charter School in Nemo.

Gillam says they were on their way home from school.

The four other boys were airlifted to Harris Methodist in downtown Fort Worth.  Their conditions have not been released.
