TCU Beats Texas A&M 13-4 in NCAA Tournament

FORT WORTH (105.3 The Fan/AP) — Cody Jones, Evan Skoug, Derek Odell and Nolan Brown drove in runs in Texas Christian University's five-run sixth inning and the Horned Frogs beat Texas A&M 13-4 on Saturday in Game 1 of their best-of-three super regional series.

TCU (48-12) is a victory away from advancing to its second straight College World Series and third overall.

Jeremie Fagnan had two doubles and two RBIs for TCU.

Trey Teakell (2-1) was the winner, allowing one hit in four scoreless innings of relief.

Aggies starter Grayson Long (9-1) had his shortest outing of the season. He allowed five runs — four earned — on seven hits in three innings.

Texas A&M dropped to 49-13.
