ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -- Police are searching for at least one suspect after a 60-year-old man was shot and killed at a north Arlington apartment complex Thursday night.

It happened just before 7 p.m. in the 2100 block of Forest Hills Drive near the corner of Washington Drive and Lincoln Drive.

Police say the victim was found dead in a ground floor apartment. The shooter fled the scene.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses who were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. No one else was hurt.

Police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Houston said the tenants in the apartment had not lived there long, but that there was no indication of any prior problems.

The name of the victim has not been released.
