Sunday Hot, Monday is Not

Fall starts tomorrow night. The weather pattern seems to know:

It was a near perfect morning but by afternoon above-normal highs will be across north Texas. Its the last full day of summer and it'll feel like it:

Note that 20% chance of storms. At 4pm they'll be over the Red River counties but move into the Metroplex by evening. This is because a cold front arrives to usher in some fall-like weather:

This is the driest start to a September in 30 years at DFW. Rain is needed but rain chances remain modest tonight:

The front will lower dew points considerably. They'll be in the mid-to-upper 60's this afternoon but fall down to the mid-40's by daybreak tomorrow:

We'll enjoy highs in the 80's this work week with nothing that looks like 90° on the horizon. Fall indeed. Looks like great weather for the start of the State Fair of Texas:
