Crews contain large structure fire in East Fort Worth
FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fire crews responded to a large structure fire in Fort Worth on Avenue G near Rosedale and Miller on April 7, containing the blaze before it could spread.
Thick smoke and flames could be seen pouring from a lot in a residential area.
Fort Worth fire officials said that a storage building behind a home caught fire.
Fort Worth firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the flames in gusty wind conditions. The structure was very close to a nearby daycare, but they managed to contain the fire before it could spread.
The house's eaves were melted, but no other damage or any injuries have been reported.
