In advance of the Stars' first home divisional game Thursday night against the Winnipeg Jets, here is a little "By the Numbers."

40--Points tallied by the Stars' defensemen this year, tied for the most in the NHL. The offensive attack on the blue line is led by John Klingberg (2-13-15) and Jason Demers (4-6-10).

8-14-7--Stars' record versus their division last season. Only two of 16 playoff teams won less than 10 divisional games. The Stars' total wins against their division was the second fewest in the NHL. Even 56-point Arizona had more in their division than the Stars had in theirs.

3--Pointless games by Jamie Benn in his last seven. He did it just once over his first ten games.

31.3--Shots per game racked up by the Stars, 6th most in the NHL. The leader is Nashville at 32.2.

8--Power play goals surrendered over the last six games. They've allowed at least one in seven of their last eight.
