FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A Fort Worth Police SWAT team arrested a man who barricaded himself in an apartment complex after allegedly critically shooting a woman multiple times Saturday morning.

Police identify the suspect as 41-year-old Parker Jeffrey Craig.

Officers were called to The Club at Fossil Creek apartments on Pebble Beach Way just before 8:45 a.m. When they arrived, they located the female victim who had been shot.  She was taken to a local hospital, but her injuries were said not to be life-threatening.

"The female informed officers that the suspect was inside the apartment armed with a weapon," said Fort Worth police spokesman Daniel Segura.  "Officers secured the area and SWAT was dispatched."

After several hours, SWAT officers fired several canisters of tear gas into the apartment.  The suspect then jumped out of a second-floor window and was taken to the hospital with a leg injury.  MedStar said he had minor injuries.

No word at this point on what charges Craig will face.
