DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Police said the suspect in a stabbing and fire has been found dead.

Officers responding to a domestic disturbance call Wednesday around 12:45 p.m., found a stabbing victim inside a home in the 9100 block of Gunnison Drive.

The officers also saw smoke coming from the garage area of the house.

Dallas Police said three people (two adult males and one adult female) where in the house when the fire began.

One of the men, and the woman, were able to get out of the house safely; however, the man had to be taken to a local hospital for evaluation of injuries he sustained during the dispute.

The other man, who investigators believe started the fire  inside the garage, died inside the home.

Fire damage was mostly limited to the garage but flames also got into the attic and caused smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.
