Southwest Flight Delayed Due To Suspicious Item On Board

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CBSDFW.COM) - A suspicious item onboard Southwest Airlines Flight 2753, scheduled from Albuquerque to Denver was delayed Monday night.

The aircraft was taxied to a remote part of the airport, according to a Southwest spokesperson.

No word late Monday night on what the item was.

Southwest said, "Customers were rescreened and will be delayed as a result. We appreciate their patience as our Employees work with the appropriate authorities. Southwest's highest priority is the Safety and Security of our Customers and Employees."
