Snowy Weather Impacting Dallas Airports

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - As of 2 pm, nearly 400 departures and arrivals were canceled Friday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and another dozen were canceled at Dallas Love Field. There were nearly 800 flight delays at DFW and more than 50 delays at Love Field.

Although the snowy weather made for some difficulties getting into an out of Dallas' major airports, both of them remained open for business. At Love Field, maintenance and operations staff were on standby to deice aircraft and clear runways.
