Six Vehicles Crash During Police Chase In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - A police chase in Fort Worth ended in a six-vehicle crash around 3:40 p.m. Monday afternoon when officers tried to stop a driver in a stolen vehicle and the driver took off.

The crash happened in the 300 block of E. Northside Drive.

Fort Worth Police said the suspects and several of the drivers the suspect smashed into area also at the hospital.  No word yet on the severity of their injuries.

Police said when the suspects are released from the hospital, they'll go straight to jail.

Police said the chase lasted approximately ten minutes.

A witness described what happened to CBS11.  

"Very high speed chase when it came through by the school. I had just walked across the street. It could've been at the school- the way he came through there if it had been ten minutes earlier it would have," said the witness.
