Six Flags Announces Expansion For 2016 With 3 New Rides

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - One of the more popular attractions at Six Flags in Arlington is due for a big expansion - timed to be ready for next year.
Since 1999, the park's Gotham City has aimed for fans of the DC Comics Batman character.
First there was Batman: The Ride, the park's only inverted roller-coaster. Then they added Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast and, finally for the little crime fighters Batwing which opened nearly ten years ago.
Now, Six Flags in Arlington will add three more Batman themed rides: The Riddler Revenge, Catwoman Whip, and Harley Quinn Spinsanity.
The work is expected to be complete in time for the park's opening in the Spring of 2016.
