GRAND PRAIRIE (CBSDFW.COM) — Cleanup continues as a severe weekend storm sent an already-saturated lake overflowing Saturday.

Water flowed from Joe Pool Lake into the Oasis restaurant, forcing it to close. Just outside the restaurant the parking lot stood in a whopping six feet of water. The Grand Prairie Police Department was present all day Sunday so as to ensure no one was stranded.

At this point, it's unclear just how long it will take for the water in the area to recede.

Also Sunday, residents in Mineral Wells spent the day cleaning up after the late Saturday night storm. Straight line winds damaged buildings and scattered debris across parking lots and roads. Streets with the most damage Sunday include: Hubbard Street, Hwy 281, Hwy 180, FM 1199 and FM 1195.

Luckily, no one was injured.

At White Rock Lake, Sunday was the day the spillway morphed into a miniature Niagara Falls.
