Shake Shack started out as a humble hot dog cart in New York and back then they had no idea they would be taking on the burger world.
"The idea of us opening in Dallas, Vegas, LA, Dubai, Istanbul or London was never part of the conversation. Twelve years later that is exactly where we are" said Shake Shack Area Director Bryan Murphy.
The Dallas location is the one hundred and first Shake Shack worldwide, and only the third in Texas behind two in Austin.
Their burgers are legendary and the shakes will make you melt, but it's their commitment to hospitality and local flavor that really hits the mark.
"We really like to be a part of where we are going and work with local vendors and local charities. That's all we do is try to get local" Bryan added.
The new location opens today at 2500 North Pearl Street in Dallas at 11 am. JD Ryan is already in line at Shake Shack...Around Town!
