THE COLONY (CBSDFW.COM) - A sexual assault parolee was re-arrested in the Colony after he was accused of taking inappropriate pictures of underage girls.

Little Elm police say Jerry Carpenter, 54, was taking pictures of the teens, who were wearing shorts and beach attire, without their knowledge at the beach at Little Elm Park. One of the girls took his picture before he took off in his Chevy Malibu.

After an investigation it was discovered that Carpenter lives in the Colony and was on parole for three aggravated sexual assaults. He was taken into custody by The Colony Police Department early Thursday morning.

At this time investigators are seeking information from anyone who may have seen Carpenter acting inappropriately or has been approached by him in the recent past.
