Several Left Homeless After Overnight Fire At Oak Cliff Apartment

DALLAS (CBSDFW/1080 KRLD) - Dozens of East Oak Cliff residents were chased from their apartments by a massive overnight fire.

According to fire officials, the blaze happened just after 1:00am Thursday in two-story home that was divided into a apartments located near I-45 and MLK Boulevard.

Officials say the two-alarm fire spread fast and everyone was evacuated but several families were left homeless after the fire severely damaged the structure.
