See The Skating Santa At The Galleria Dallas

Santa is well known for his sleigh driving abilities, but when it came time to put on an ice skating show, Santa had to call on the top skating instructor in the world.
"We actually brought in the Men's Professional Champion of 1992, and I said 'hey buddy, I can teach you how to be the best skating Santa there has ever been'...he's been doing it ever since" said the owner of the Galleria Ice Skating Center and Olympic skating judge David Kirby.
David and his wife, Holly, have owned the Galleria Ice Skating Center since 1991 and the skating Santa has taken on a life of its own over the years.
"He's a very very fun and emotional Santa Claus. He really gets the kids going with fireworks and back flips and he's sort of a character on ice" Kirby added.
JD Ryan is center ice at The Galleria for the start of the holiday season today...Around Town!
