DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting that wounded an undercover Arlington police officer on Thursday, police say.

Dallas police have arrested Victor Solorzano for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the department said. Police have charged both the 30-year-old and 23-year-old Edgar Solorzano, the original suspect arrested, with two counts of aggravated assault — one for each of the officers that were fired on, the department said.

Both are in Dallas County Jail. Police previously said the Arlington officer should make a full recovery.

Dallas police are continuing the investigation.
