Second Man Arrested In Connection To Bank Robbery, Detective Shootings

BURLESON (CBSDFW.COM) - On Christmas Eve Burleson police arrested a second person in connection with a bank robbery and the shooting of two detectives.

Lamarcus Jones Jr, 22, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery just before midnight. Police said he was the driver of the getaway vehicle involved in the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank on the 400 block of East Renfro Street on Dec. 19.

Police said he's considered an accomplice to Andre Jackson Jr, 19, who allegedly shot the detectives.

Since the shooting, both officers were treated and released from the hospital.
