Volunteers Searching For Missing Fort Worth Woman Find Possible Evidence

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The search for Typhenie Johnson could have a new focus thanks to the efforts of volunteers over the weekend.
Police said they expect to resume what they describe as a systematic ground search on Monday. They have been developing leads to help direct the search, and officers confirmed Sunday night pieces of clothing found by volunteers will help prioritize what areas they search.
Two volunteers found what police describe as several items of clothing. The volunteers said they came across them in the Lake Arlington-area after a family-led search focused on that area Sunday afternoon.
Investigators said it's too early to tell if the items were indeed kidnapping suspect Christopher Revill's clothing, but detectives will now take a closer look to see if they should direct more search efforts where they were found.
Revill is the ex-boyfriend of Typhenie Johnson and the last person seen with her before she disappeared Monday night. Police arrested him Tuesday on suspicion of kidnapping.
Since then, friends and family members along with dozens of volunteers have searched areas with the help of Fort Worth Police.
Johnson's twin brother helped lead those search efforts Sunday, but took a moment to explain what he would say if he could speak directly to Revill.
"As of right now, you're lying to me, man. Just come truthful with yourself and with me and my family," Asher Johnson said, "Everybody's born with a heart. It just depends on how you decide you want to use it, and it's never too late to change that."
Volunteers were able to cover several different areas today, and they said even if they don't find anything, they are at least able to rule out where to look.
Police said they are also focusing on cell phone data to help find clues on where to search. They're asking anyone who would like to help to monitor their social media accounts where they plan to announce when and where they will search next.
