Police Find Body Of Missing Plano Mom

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Plano police found the body of Libby Elizabeth Michelle Davis, 28, near where the young mother drove her car off the turnpike on Wednesday.

Davis crashed her car at George Bush Tollway and the exit to Preston Road around 5 p.m.

The special needs teacher's family was frantic to find her and sent out pleas to media and filed a missing persons report.

Her family told CBS 11 News they didn't think she was injured in the crash, and had left the car on foot without her cell phone or purse or any identification. They also said Davis was suffering from severe depression and anxiety.

Police searched for her with dogs and helicopters for several hours 'yet found no trace of her until Thursday evening.
