Search For Missing Fort Worth Woman Enters Second Week

PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - More than a week after a 23-year-old Fort Worth woman was last seen at the Shops at Legacy in Plano the search for her grows in scope and desperation.

On Sunday family members and friends of Christina Morris searched around Lewisville Lake, Allen High School, and along Cottonwood Creek.

They found nothing.

Morris is a graduate of Allen High School, and many of her friends who she was with the last night she was last seen also went to Allen High School.

"There's a clue somewhere and someone's got to find it," said Beverly Lillie, a family friend.

Morris was last seen on surveillance video walking into a parking lot at the Shops of Legacy with a friend shortly before 4:00 am on August 30th.

Investigators say Morris and her friend then went separate ways. Morris walking towards her car. But her silver Toyota Celica never left the parking lot.

Earlier in the week, Morris' mother, Jonnie McElroy, said she was "losing hope but still had faith."

That faith is why many on Sunday said they will continue to search.
