Police Seek Possible Serial Sex Assault Suspect After Woman Victimized

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in two cities are looking for a man suspected in several sexual assaults that happened in the last two years.

The latest assault happened on July 22 at a Arlington massage business on Park Row Drive.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect walking in before he allegedly sexually assaults a female employee.

The crime at the commercial development reminded police in Arlington of another one they had information on, from two years ago.

"Similar business, similar description of the suspect, and similar vehicle description," said Sgt. Tim Pinckney with the Arlington Police Sex Crimes Unit.

Everything police saw here appears to match with a case from nearby Dalworthington Gardens from September of 2015.

"We were aware of it back in 2015 when they released the information from their agency on that offense. And we remembered the similarities in their offense, and the similarities in our offense. So we believe they may be connected," said Sgt. Pinckney.

The Arlington Police Department is working with detectives from Dalworthington Gardens on the possible connection between the cases

The man is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs between 230 and 260 pounds. He has visible tattoos on his chest and arms.

Police are focused not just on the clear images the camera caught of the man this time, but on what he was driving.

Officers said he was driving a silver or white 2007 to 2016 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep has a tow winch and unique aftermarket tires. It did not have a front license plate.

"That's why we think the public will be able to identify who this individual is, that will provide the tip we need to identify this individual," said Sgt. Pinckney.

Besides a name, police are also asking for any leads on other cases the man could be tied to.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
