DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A woman is gunned down after arranging to sell her phone online. One suspect is in jail and police say there could be other people involved and more arrests to come.

The shooting happened over the weekend outside the Medieval Times theme restaurant in the 2000 block of North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.

According to police, the parking lot of the restaurant was where Martha Teran was supposed to meet the buyer; instead it's where she lost her life.

Teran, a 42-year-old Dallas mother, was shot once Sunday evening. Police say her attacker was 22-year-old Lonzell Hunter. He was arrested late Wednesday morning after a two-and-a-half day search.

Investigators say Hunter showed up at Medieval Times, grabbed the phone from Teran, shot her and then took off. Teran later died at Parkland Hospital.

Teran's adult daughter witnessed the shooting and was able to give a detailed description of the suspect to police.

Teran was a real estate agent at Gilchrist and Company. Her co-workers, who are still stunned by the loss, say she was a giving person. "It's just senseless," said Jim Roberts, who worked with Teran. "You know it's shock at first and you realize the circumstances. It's senseless… really."

Another co-worker, Cynthia Roberts, said she hopes other people making similar transactions will be cautious. "I think that's why the public needs to know and they need to be very concerned with their children selling phones on Craigslist or this app or whatever."

If you're arranging to sell something online police urge you to pick a very public, well-lit spot to make the exchange and limit your risk. Police departments across North Texas are offering their headquarters and local police stations as "Safe Zone" spots.

Funeral services for Teran are set for Thursday. A GoFundMe page has been set up to offset some of the cost since she did not have insurance.

Meanwhile, Hunter has been charged with Capital Murder and is being held in the Dallas County Jail on $500,000 bond.
