Search Continues For Home Invasion Suspect

Denton County (CBSDFW.COM) - The Denton County Sheriff's Office is continuing their search for a suspect in an early morning home invasion west of Justin early Monday morning.

Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call on Comanche Road, about 2:35am. The caller reported a car driving in the area with its lights off.

Deputies found the car parked with two men inside. One person was wearing a bandana covering his face. Two long guns could be seen in the car. The men were ordered out of the car and handcuffed.

While the two men were being apprehended their accomplices were inside a nearby house.  One resident yelled they were being robbed. The two accomplices ran out of the house into nearby woods. One fired shots as he exited the house.

One suspect was located and taken into custody. The other is still at large.

Dezmon Gassaway 20, Hakeem Jones 25, and a 17 year old male were found to be in possession of a large amount of cash and guns. They were arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
