UPDATE: Walmart told CBS11, the store on Berry Street inadvertently had frozen bone in turkey breast ($1.78 per lb.) and a full frozen turkey ($0.83 per lb.) in the same bin with the higher price listed on the sign, but each individual product was priced correctly. The products have now been separated so customers can easily distinguish the different items.

FORT WORTH (CBS11) - A shopper noticed a price discrepancy on turkeys at two Walmart Super Centers and Walmart is responding.

The Walmart in East Fort Worth near Highway 287 and Berry Street was selling a Honeysuckle White Fresh Turkey for $1.68 per pound on Tuesday.

CBS11 found the same turkey for sale at the Walmart Super Center in Hurst for 83-cents per pound.

A shopper who contacted CBS11 wondered while shoppers in East Fort Worth have to pay more than double the price for a turkey than Hurst customers.

A Walmart corporate spokesperson, Molly Blakeman, sent the following statement to CBS11 Tuesday afternoon:

"We're working now to understand where the discrepancy may have taken place and to adjust the pricing. We're working quickly to adjust our pricing to ensure that we take care of our customers."

The Walmart website states that prices vary "store to store" and it's not policy to price match their own stores.
