Romo Leaves Game After Hit To Back
By: Josh Clark
DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Tony Romo left tonight's game against the Seattle Seahawks after being hit from behind as he attempted to slide.
Romo laid on the field for a minute before walking off under his own power.
He was seen on the sidelines getting his back looked at by trainers.
Romo appeared to be loosening up to try and return to the game, but ultimately sat back down on the bench.
Speaking at halftime to CBS 11, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said "we don't think it's a serious thing."
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones joined the team's local broadcast in the third quarter and said "he's not injured," when asked about Romo.
Jones said Romo wanted to go back in the game but it was a coaching decision for him to not return.
