FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Fort Worth Police believe there's a serial robber on the loose and he may be armed.
Robbery detectives say they know what he looks like as he's been caught on surveillance video twice. They just don't know who he is.
They say an Hispanic man, 30 to 40-years-old, 5' 7" to 5' 9" and weighing about 230 pounds robbed the Family Dollar at 1700 Sycamore School Road around 9:40pm on February 7th.
Police say the robber tried to blend in as a customer, perusing the aisles and picking up items to buy, then made his move.
"He puts his hand indicating he has a gun and demands cash register from the victim," says Fort Worth Detective Brian Raynsford.
Detectives say the same suspect committed a robbery at the Michaels at 4921 Overton Ridge Blvd on February 12th.
While police say he hasn't actually pulled out a gun, "We would like to get him off the street before he hurts someone," says Detective Raynsford.
