Rifles And Handguns Lifted From Arlington Gun Store Overnight

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - More than 40 weapons, including a variety of handguns and rifles were pilfered, from an Arlington gun shop early Thursday morning.

Police say it happened around 3:00 a.m. in the 800 block of Avenue H East.  When police responded to the burglar alarm, the suspects had already left.

Surveillance video shows several suspects moving around inside the business.  Police say they got away with 32 handguns, nine rifles and two shotguns.

Police say they took off  in a large, black pickup truck according to a witness at a neighboring business.

Police found that truck abandoned in Dallas Thursday afternoon.

The ATF is working the case along with Arlington Police.
