BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Glenn Otto struck out five and gave up two runs in 4 1/3 innings of relief, and Rice had 13 hits in a 10-6 victory over LSU on Monday night to force a deciding game in the Baton Rouge Regional.

Rice broke it open with three runs in the fifth and seven innings.

After LSU tied it at 4-4 in the fifth, Connor Teykl had a RBI double to the right-field corner and later beat the tag of catcher Michael Papierski on Ryan Chandler's soft liner for a 7-4 lead.

In the seventh, Chandler's bases-loaded shallow fly ball found a hole and Grayson Lewis scored for an 8-4 lead. One pitch later, pinch hitter Blake Fox drove home two runs on a single past a diving first baseman.

LSU reliever Austin Bain was hit in the face on a line drive by Charlie Warren in the eighth. He didn't stay on the ground long and was able to walk off under his own power.

Rice (38-23) will face LSU (44-19) on Tuesday, with the winner advancing to the super regional.
