Report Detailing Dallas Firefighter Death Investigation Released

DALLAS (CBS I-TEAM) - Dallas Fire-Rescue has finally addressed a fire that killed one of their own.

Almost 16 months after the death of Stanley Wilson, the city has publicly released the report detailing what happened on May 20, 2013, and the investigation that has taken place since.

At Dallas City Hall, Dallas Fire Chief Louis Bright admitted his firefighters made mistakes that may have led to Stan Wilson's death.

But Chief Blight said no one commander is responsible.

The released report does not point fingers at any one person and Blight says no disciplinary action will be taken.

Blight says there will be a lot of training and coaching based on the recommendations from the report.
