RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Rookie wide receiver Josh Doctson is among five players the Washington Redskins placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp.

The Redskins put Doctson on the PUP list with an Achilles injury that first occurred at rookie minicamp in May. Doctson returned during organized team activities but left soon after when he aggravated the problem.

Guard Shawn Lauvao (ankle), linebacker Perry Riley (foot), tight end Derek Carrier (knee) and wide receiver Reggie Diggs (knee) also went on the PUP list Thursday prior to the team's first workout. The Redskins also put linebacker Junior Galette on the reserve/non-football injury list after he tore his right Achilles tendon.
