Red Cross: Ways To Help Those Affected By Tornadoes

ROWLETT (CBSDFW) - The DFW chapter of the Red Cross is doing everything they can to help after tornadoes ravaged through North Texas last night.

The Red Cross is helping residents in counties including Ellis, Dallas, Collin, as well as other counties that were affected.

A shelter is in place in Rowlett at the Steadham Elementary School at 6200 Danridge Road.

Workers are distributing supplies such as tarps, shovels and other items.

The Red Cross says they are always looking for volunteers. If you're interested, you can sign up here.
