HOOD/PARKER COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - The Red Cross moved its shelter operations around in Hood and Parker counties Saturday.

The Red Cross closed their shelters at 600 W. Bridge Street in Granbury and the Spring Creek Church in Weatherford.

They opened a new shelter at the First Christian Church in Granbury.

According to the Red Cross, it is important to them that they keep a place open until every community member has a safe place to stay.

According to the Red Cross, they anticipate a low shelter population.

Red Cross will continue to aid residents Sunday at the First Christian Church in Granbury and the Horseshoe Bend Volunteer Fire Department in Weatherford.

Flood survivors are urged to call 1-800-RED-CROSS if they cannot make it to these locations.
