Rapids Earn 1-1 Draw With FC Dallas On Late Goal

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Dillon Serna scored in the 88th minute, and the Colorado Rapids earned a 1-1 tie with FC Dallas on Friday night.

Serna slammed home a half-volley with his left foot in the center of the penalty area off a cross from Drew Moor. It was Serna's second goal of the season.

Fabian Castillo made it 1-0 in the 71st minute with a bender from the left side of the penalty area. It was Castillo's first goal since May 1.

Dallas (6-5-5) nearly made it 2-0 in the 85th minute, but Clint Irwin made a diving save of Blas Perez' header from the top of the 6-yard box.

Colorado (2-4-9)is last in the Western Conference.
