The move comes a day after outfielder Delino DeShields left Sunday's game with a left hamstring injury.

In 30 games at Round Rock, Odor has batted .352 (.426 OBP) with five home runs, 19 RBI, and 12 doubles. He was sent down on May 11 after hitting .144 with 25 strikeouts in 90 at bats to start the season.

With Odor's presence, the Rangers could be forced to shuffle the infield to keep third baseman Joey Gallo in the lineup.

Hanser Alberto or Adam Rosales could slide to third base, with rookie Joey Gallo moving to left field.

The Rangers begin a two-game set with the Dodgers on Monday in Arlington.
