ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Rangers offense came into Wednesday's game with only 24 runs scored over their last eight ballgames.

They responded by putting up 15 runs against the Angels in the final game of the three-game series.

Texas had 18 hits for the game, four of them coming from catcher Bobby Wilson in route to their 15-9 win.

Wilson is the first Ranger this year to have four hits in a game.

Nomar Mazara launched his 8th home run of the season into the right field upper home run porch in the second inning. The ball traveled approximately 491 feet, making it the longest home run in all of baseball this season.

Colby Lewis struggled in the beginning of his start, but was able to get through five innings to earn his fourth win of the season. Lewis allowed six earned runs on eight hits.

Texas has the day off Thursday before hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates for a three-game set starting on Friday night.
