Rangers Agree To Terms With Jurickson Profar On 1-Year Deal

ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) - Infielder Jurickson Profar and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a one-year, $605,000 contract, avoiding arbitration.

Profar spent the entire 2015 season on the 60-day disabled list due to shoulder injuries.

He batted .256 (11-43) on a 12-game injury rehabilitation assignment with Hickory (A) and Frisco (AA) in August and September, and had a .267 (20-91) average with 2 home runs and 20 RBI over 20 games for Surprise in the Arizona Fall League.
