ARLINGTON, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - The Texas Rangers have announced that they have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Neftali Feliz on a one-year deal for the 2015 season.

With this deal the Rangers avoided arbitration with Feliz for an estimated $4.125 million.

Feliz spent the final two months of the 2014 season going 2-1 with 13 saves and a 1.99 ERA (7 ER/31.2 IP) in 30 relief appearances.

Feliz ranks 4th in Rangers history in saves (87) and his .179 career opponents batting average is the lowest in club history among pitchers with at least 200.0 innings.

Pitcher Ross Detwiler and infielder/DH hitter Mitch Moreland are the only remaining Rangers eligible for salary arbitration.
