ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN) - The hot stove has finally turned on in Arlington.

According to the Rangers, Texas and the Seattle Mariners agreed to a trade on Monday.

The Rangers have acquired RHP Tom Wilhelmsen, OF James Jones, and a player to be named later from Seattle for RHP Anthony Bass and OF Leonys Martin.

Wilhelmsen was 2-2, had a 3.19 ERA with 13 saves in 53 games with Seattle in 2015. The right-hander will be a nice addition out of the Rangers bullpen. He has a career .297 ERA over 312 1/3 innings.

Wilhelmsen has spent his entire five-year career in Seattle.

It's a tough ending to Martin's career in Texas. Injuries and his struggles at the plate caused him to be sent down to Triple-A Round Rock in August. Following his demotion, Delino DeShields continued his hot play and remained the club's starting center fielder for the rest of the season.

Martin was left off of the Rangers' post-season roster for Drew Stubbs and Will Venable.
