DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - As Valentine's Day approaches, volunteers are bringing smiles to hospital patients in Dallas.

Methodist Health System has encouraged folks to send free e-cards to patients to brighten their Valentine's Day.

On Friday, volunteers at Methodist Charlton Medical Center delivered those Valentines cards and heart-shaped hot/cold packs to every patient.
