Possible Plea Deal In Dallas County Corruption Case

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Documents filed in Dallas Federal Court say one of the accused co-conspirators in the massive Dallas County Corruption case is pleading guilty later this morning.
He wasn't a well known name, but Christian Campbell has suddenly become important to federal prosecutors who are going after Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price.
According to a factual resume filed in federal court, Campbell, who owned Campbell Consulting - an IT company, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit bribery in which he paid bribes to get a Dallas County contract. The papers say Campbell hired Price's campaign manager, co-defendant Kathy Nealy, who got inside information to land that contract.
The agreement that will be presented to the court calls for Campbell to turn into a government witness and testify against Price, Neely and anyone else in the case.and the government will seek no more than three years in prison.
John Wiley Price has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
