Police: Verbal Fight Between Family Members Turns Into Stabbing

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — A verbal altercation between family members escalated to a stabbing early Sunday morning, police say.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Northwest Highway around 2:30 a.m. What started as a verbal fight between two family members turned into a physical one, in which one person stabbed another in the torso, according to Dallas police. A witness called 911.
The victim was taken to Parkland Hospital. Their condition is unknown, police said.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and is being charged with aggravated assault, family violence, according to police.
