NEW YORK (AP) — Police say they believe that suspicious white powder found at Trump Tower in Manhattan is harmless.

Officers were called to the mailroom in the basement of the building near Central Park just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The building was not evacuated and there were no injuries.

The city's health department is investigating. The powder has been sent to a lab for analysis.

In April, an envelope containing a harmless white powder caused a scare when it was opened at the Republican presidential candidate's campaign office in the same building.
