DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating a shooting a strip club in northwest Dallas.

Officers were called to Club Onxy, in the 10000 block of Wireway Drive, around 3:30 a.m.

Police are still investigating but witnesses told investigators that there had been a fight inside the club and when the bouncer tried to break it up a patron pulled out a gun. The man shot the bouncer and fled the scene.

The bouncer was shot in the leg and finger, but is in good condition. He is being treated at Parkland Hospital.

This morning police are still searching for the suspect. So far, a description of that shooting suspect has not been released.

Investigators will be looking at surveillance video from the club later today, in hopes of identifying or at least getting a picture of the shooter.
